"There's an old Wayne Gretzky quote that I love. 'I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.' And we've always tried to do that at Apple. Since the very, very beginning. And we always will"- Steve Jobs

No one doubts that IT is the most desired field of 21st century. Everyone agrees that this tendency will reach into further future and even manage to grow. In our time, popularity of technologies isn’t just a phase or a fashion statement, it’s the definite future, perspective that everything that we ever saw in Sci-fi movies as children could become real. Everyone be part of that reality, each one of us that watched adventures of Marty Mcfly and Doctor Emmett while they travelled “Back to the future” or cruise of Lilu and Corben Dallas in the “Fifth Element”. Movies like these opened our imagination and motivated us to create the future we wanted to live in. Marty and Doctor are travelling to the year 2015, many of the things that were deemed impossible then are now everyday products. We can have virtual conversations with people on the other side of the world with skype, hoverboards are used by both kids and adults and there are even working concepts of flying cars. The question is, where does the technological innovation start? And Who are the people behind it?

We shouldn’t look for evil geniuses that dress themselves funny and can always be recognized from afar by their characteristics. People, who are actually changing the world, are very much like us, from the outside that is. They usually spend hours upon hours in front of the computer and are writing code that is mostly incomprehensible for the rest of the world. Microelectronics, computer technologies, telecommunication technologies, these are just few parts of informational technologies (IT). The advancement of this field started in the south of San Francisco, in a place called
Sillycon Valley. It can be credited for inspiring Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates and many others. The valley was named so after the first microprocessor intel 40004 by a journalist Don Hefler
45 years after creation of original Silicon Valley it will find its home in Tbilisi as well. Project that has attracted millions of investments unites IT academy, business and technological university, school, laboratory and research center as well as technological incubator. It will also include offices of top technological companies, student campus and summer school for children.
